ILM Library

Dear LMC Leader,

Welcome to the Intercultural Leadership Ministry (ILM) Library, set up for you! These resources are provided as part of the purpose of the ILM, which exists to help LMC in its pursuit of Justice, to dismantle racism from its systems, and to equip leaders to become increasingly interculturally competent. You are invited to visit the library in my cubicle on the 2nd floor at Hub450 and take and keep one or two texts. You also are invited to contact me to request digital or hard copies of these resources. There is no cost to you for these resources -and more!

Some of the resources (books, videos, etc.) in our collection can be most effective when we use them in learning together, in discussion and dialogue. Together we can process the questions we have, the emotions that are stirred up in us, and how what may be new information impacts us. You will find an asterisk (*) next to titles that work best in a group setting.

In addition, we are searching for resources that can help us specifically learn to become more intercultural in our developmental orientation. Please help us in our search. If you know of resources that have helped you toward your “leading orientation” (e.g., from polarization to minimization) please recommend them to ILM.

When you email me at KMckinney@lmcchurches.org, please note whether you prefer a digital or hard copy of the item.
