DESCRIPTION:FREE to all attending! \nLed by Heather Brickner\, PRC Staff \nWhile the radio plays\, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year\, church staff members are humming the tune of “It’s the Most Busiest Time of the Year.”  Before the holidays\, gather with other church staff members for hot chocolate and cookies and learn ways to personally pursue a more sustainable rhythm through the season.  Christmas-time may be a time of hustle and bustle\, but you can still experience rest and renewal by being intentional before the season begins. \nThis roundtable is ideal for all part-time or full-time church staff members.  Consider attending as a whole church staff in order to create healthy rhythms personally and in the office. \nHeather is passionate about helping churches make disciples and love their community. Heather also serves as a licensed pastor of Branch & Vine\, a new church in Lancaster City. She holds an MA in Ministerial Leadership from Wesley Seminary. Heather knows firsthand the stresses and joys of ministry\, and desires to help staff and volunteer leaders grow spiritually and thrive in their ministry settings.

DESCRIPTION:Led by \nJen Eisenberg\, Director of the SENT Gathering at First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster \nJeff McClain\, Lead Pastor at East Petersburg Mennonite Church \nKent Rice\, Founder of East Petersburg Area Civic Center \nJesus taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves\, but how should we do this in our current culture?  Join us for a panel discussion with leaders who are helping churches think about loving their neighbors\, but even more\, are committed to doing it themselves on a daily basis.  Each person attending will leave with practical examples and reflective questions to help them\, and people at their church\, think honestly about who their neighbors are and how they can practically extend love. \nJen Eisenberg loves to gather people to each other and the joyful Presence of God.  She does this in several settings – through First Presbyterian Church as Director of the SENT Gathering\, through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Graduate and Faculty Ministry\, as a spiritual director & mission coach to developing Christian leaders\, and in her family with husband Jon and their two children. \nJeff McLain is the Lead Pastor at East Petersburg Mennonite Church\, a faith community that is learning to live and love like Jesus in East Petersburg\, PA.  Jeff is committed to following Jesus\, missional expressions\, investing locally in his East Petersburg neighborhood\, and living simply.  He also coaches individuals\, churches\, and church plants interested in missional neighborhood difference making. \nKent Rice is a follower of Christ\, a family man\, and a dreamer.  He’s got more passions than worries and would rather make a bad pun than think about anything too hard.  His favorite place to be in ministry is at the crossroads of Mercy and Creativity.

Lehman and Hutchinson will share their churches’ design processes. Each will show examples of past worship arts elements that may inspire you when creating visual elements in your own spaces of worship.\n\nParticipants will break into pairs or small groups to brainstorm\, through a hands-on activity\, about how visual elements can deepen their congregation’s worship experience.
