SUMMARY:LMC Conference-Wide Prayer Meeting
DESCRIPTION:LMC Conference-Wide Prayer Meeting\nThe global pandemic we are all experiencing is creating opportunities for us to rethink so much of what we do and how we do it. That includes rethinking how we encourage and facilitate prayer gatherings across LMC.\n\nBelieving that the Lord is calling his people to prayer\, we are planning a one-hour online conference-wide prayer meeting. This will be hosted by the LMC office using our Zoom capabilities\, so anyone with access to the internet can join in wherever they are. Please extend this invitation to anyone in your congregation who might have an interest in participating.\n\nBecause of the likelihood of a large group\, this will be guided prayer time\, including:\n\n\n5 minutes – Welcome and Purpose\n10 minutes – Dwelling briefly in our Acts 1 text\n 5 minutes – LMC’s mission statement\n20 minutes breakout rooms for sharing and prayer\n10 minutes – reconvene large group for closing comments and prayer\n\n\nThis prayer meeting will be held on Thursday evening\, May 7th at 7:00 p.m. (EST) \nTo join the meeting\, simply click on the following Zoom link: Conference-Wide Prayer\n\nObviously\, this is an experiment!  We have no idea how many people might join in. But we believe it is an experiment from which we can learn and make adaptations for future\, similar prayer gatherings.
