  • Worship Leader

It looks like a river.River Corner Church is a small but growing community of everyday people who gather to worship God, follow Jesus, and journey through life together. We’re in an exciting season of revitalization and are seeking a Worship Leader who will help shape a worship culture that is simple, consistent, congruent, intimate, and accessible.

    Our Worship Vision
    We long for worship that:
    • Simple – Focuses on intimacy with God and musical simplicity over complexity.
    • Consistent – Develops a steady rhythm of worship, introducing songs thoughtfully and seasonally.
    • Congruent – Flows naturally from beginning to end, making the entire gathering a time of worship.
    • Intimate – Draws people into deeper relationship with Jesus and the Spirit of God.
    • Accessible – Honors our intergenerational community by blending modern worship songs with timeless hymns (about a 3:2 ratio).

    Our hope is to cultivate a worship culture marked by transparency, vulnerability, and authentic connection with God.

    About River Corner Church
    We are a simple community of Jesus followers marked by these core commitments:

    On Sunday mornings, our posture is one of charismatic and contemplative balance, creating a welcoming and healing environment for those who are seeking or hurting, and growing toward a more intergenerational and conversational expression of worship.

    Sunday Gathering Rhythm
    • 3–4 opening songs of worship (led by the worship leader)
    • Announcements
    • Coffee break (with children dismissed for their class)
    • Time of prayer, praise, and sharing
    • Sermon
    • Closing song of worship

    Role Responsibilities
    • Lead musical worship most Sunday mornings (with one Sunday off per month).
    • Select songs that align with the sermon theme and overall service flow.
    • Communicate clearly with the pastor, sound team, and other worship participants.
    • Recruit, equip, and encourage new worship team members.
    • Schedule and lead rehearsals as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Position Details
    • Hours: ~5 hours per week
    • Compensation: Nego. per month
    • Reports to: Pastor (in collaboration with the Leadership Team)

    Willow Street Mennonite Church is looking for a Director of Worship Ministries. This position is for 25-40 hours a week, /depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, fit, and availability for the role.   • VOLUNTEER – Child Care Assistant & English Language Assistant

    Child Care Assistant

    Help to maintain a safe and fun environment for preschool children while their parents participate in our programs. Duties include setting up/cleaning up the play area, playing with the children, maintaining a clean environment, and monitoring the children to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner at the NEIGHBORS Community Center.

    English Language Assistant

    Help teach English to non-native speakers using our provided curriculum. Assist the teacher with fun and interactive lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to help our new neighbors improve their language skills.

  • Volunteer Receptionists Needed

    EMM and LMC are thankful for the volunteer receptionists we have now, but we need a few more. Currently, a regular Tuesday afternoon shift is available, and substitute receptionists are needed to fill the shifts when regular volunteers can’t make it. General responsibilities include welcoming guests to EMM and LMC offices, answering the phone, and transferring calls. The role consists of occasional and light projects such as collating or folding things, but there will be time for personal reading or projects.
