  • Rehearsal Assistants

    The Mennonite Children’s Choir of Lancaster seeks part-time rehearsal assistants for the Carol Choir, Concert Choir, and Prelude Music. Rehearsals occur on Tuesday evenings during the school year with weekend retreats and concerts in the fall and spring. The Carol and Concert Choir Rehearsal Assistant supports the director in providing quality music instruction and choral training to singers in grades 2 – 8. The candidate will have a genuine love of working with elementary and middle school students, hold a degree in music, and have a solid understanding of children’s voices and a broad knowledge of age-appropriate singing material. The Prelude Music Assistant provides support to the director during Prelude Music during classes. The candidate will effectively relate to young children and have a love of music. Piano accompaniment is preferred, but not required.
