    Renew Publishing, a ministry of First Mennonite Church in Berne IN is seeking an experienced Content Editor to join our adult Sunday School curriculum team. In this role, you will proofread copy before it is sent to the layout designer. Your primary job is to ensure clarity, coherency, consistency, and correctness. You will also check for accuracy of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, and fact-check general and biblical content. You may make changes that affect the overall tone of content. Our ideal applicant will be passionate about producing a curriculum that is biblically sound with an evangelical Anabaptist perspective. This is a part-time position of approximately 70 hours per quarter with work done remotely.

  • Volunteer Receptionists Needed

    EMM and LMC are thankful for the volunteer receptionists we have now, but we need a few more. Currently, a regular Tuesday afternoon shift is available, and substitute receptionists are needed to fill the shifts when regular volunteers can’t make it. General responsibilities include welcoming guests to EMM and LMC offices, answering the phone, and transferring calls. The role consists of occasional and light projects such as collating or folding things, but there will be time for personal reading or projects.
