    Mellinger Mennonite Church and supporting churches are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director for the Parent and Preschool Center, responsible for overseeing the administration and enrollment of the preschool program. The Director will manage all personnel, provide support and resources for staff to meet educational goals, and ensure a positive learning environment for approximately 90 students. This position is offering 28-32 hours per week during the school year, with variable hours in the summer.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee preschool enrollment and administration
    • Supervise and support staff, providing resources to meet educational objectives
    • Manage personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
    • Foster a positive, supportive environment for students, parents, and staff

In this role, you will proofread copy before it is sent to the layout designer. Your primary job is to ensure clarity, coherency, consistency, and correctness.   • Volunteer Receptionists Needed

    EMM and LMC are thankful for the volunteer receptionists we have now, but we need a few more. Currently, a regular Tuesday afternoon shift is available, and substitute receptionists are needed to fill the shifts when regular volunteers can’t make it. General responsibilities include welcoming guests to EMM and LMC offices, answering the phone, and transferring calls. The role consists of occasional and light projects such as collating or folding things, but there will be time for personal reading or projects.
