LMC Legacy Foundation

MCUSA & LMC Leaders meet

On March 29, leaders from Mennonite Church USA met with LMC leaders. This annual meeting was arranged several years ago as a way to maintain relationship with one another. Glen Guyton, Joy Sutter, and Michael Danner met with LMC officers and some staff who then gathered for a meal and sharing.

Moderator Travels:

 Keith Weaver, LMC Moderator, traveled extensively in recent months with several visits  to Indiana and Ohio, one to western New York state, and several visits to New York City, one to Philadelphia, and one to Florida. Church on the Other Side

Church on the Other Side, LMCs multiplication ministry,  collaborated with Bethlehem Community Fellowship to offer a workshop on church multiplication. Anniversaries

During the month of September, West End Mennonite Fellowship celebrated 20 years of ministry during four consecutive Sunday. Josef Berthold is the lead pastor. The final Sunday included a baptism related to the Muslim ministry in the congregation. Scholarships and Grants

The LMC Grants Committee awarded $14,000 to 23 applicants in August. Four grants are administered annually in August by this committee: Leadership Education Grant, STEP Study Award, Urban Education Grant, Women’s Education Grant.
