On November 6th, Louis Kabamba, Adalberto Santiago, Glenn Kauffman, and Rodney Martin flew into Wichita, Kansas for a pastor’s retreat with the new South Central District.  Sixteen congregations were represented, including churches in Kansas, a congregation from Colorado, Spanish churches from south Texas, a mostly Native American church from New Mexico, a Congolese church from Wichita, and an Ethiopian church from Kansas City.  This diverse group was ready for the new wine that God is pouring out upon them to move from a place of being stuck without a mission, to being a district of LMC Churches with the mission to be a Spirit-led movement.  We had dynamic times of prayer and worship along with teaching on John 15, movement DNA, and metanoia change that was interactively presented by the team with breakout groups, stories, and prayer.  The Spirit moved in an unexpected and powerful way that was refreshing and renewing for the group.
