Joint Youth Group Meeting New Danville District (Pennsylvania) and Yellow Creek Mennonite Church (Indiana) youth groups met together in early July at New Danville Mennonite Church. The multi-day event included relationship-building activities, worship, Bible study, water balloons, and campfires. Matthew Coredella Bontrager served as a resource speaker for the group. Of course, there was lots of food like hotdogs and Smores.
Mennonite Heritage Experience First Mennonite Church, Berne, IN brought a group of youth to Pennsylvania for their five-day, biannual Mennonite heritage experience in June. The group spent a day visiting historic sites in Philadelphia to place Mennonite migration within the broader American colonial story.
